· Although he isn’t participating in this weekend’s rookie minicamp, quarterback Daunte Culpepper earned praise Friday from coach Nick Saban for his recovery from major knee injury.
· Saban said Culpepper recently met with sports surgeon Dr. James Andrews and received an “A-plus” for where he stands in his rehabilitation from three torn knee ligaments suffered in October while playing for Minnesota.
· The Canadian Football League might not be in the plans the Dolphins and Ricky Williams are formulating for how the suspended running back will spend his year away from the team.
· Judging by how smoothly he maneuvered at tight end during Friday’s practices, it appears Kyle Turley may be able to make a successful comeback as a tight end.
