D-Wade’s Five is Hot
This tip was sent to me from a reader of Slippery Brick, a great tech website which I have been reading since I got to work this morning. Dwyane Wade is taking another step in the marketing game, expanding on his current T-Mobile success. T-Mobile recently announced a new Limited Edition Sidekick 3, this one being designed by Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat. What makes this third version of the Sidekick special is it represents the number D-Wade wears, the number of years he has been in the league, and the fact he is a Sidekick 3 user himself. From Slippery Brick…
The new Sidekick 3 is white with copper accents and the back of the device has been created to look and feel like the surface of a basketball. Aside from the court, Wade’s design of the new Limited Edition Sidekick was also inspired by his love of high-end automobiles and the white and bronze contrasting colors found on Miami Beach.
The device should be available soon. Read more at Slippery Brick.
(Update: Gizmodo did a great interview with D-Wade about his Sidekick 3. Check it out.)

Hey thanks for the compliment Dude. This seemed fitting for SporTech. I’ve been seriously slacking on tech news. I was holding out for a Shaq appearance in a PC vs Apple commercial. I doubt that ever happens.
I can’t take all the credit, Slippery Brick gave me the great tip.

As not to confuse Slippery Brick when they see the incoming links, I actually was browsing their site and sent you the link. I run a gadget/general interest blog, but I’m not with slippery brick, just a fan.
And nice site JD, I’m surprised at the general shortage of S FL sports blogs.
