SporTech Matter 2007 Hardball is Back!
Well it never was really here in the first place. If you played in the SporTech fantasy football league, you know how (sarcasm) exciting it was! Well it’s time to report to Spring Training and get ready for the 2007 SporTech Matter Fantasy Hardball league. I think we will keep the league capped at 10 teams. If we have more then 10 teams interested in joining we might expand teams to 12 or 14 but I would like to keep the league competitive. This post is just to gain interest. Yahoo Fantasy league’s open tomorrow. Here are the league settings I was thinking of using as I’ve been using them the past few years:

Max Moves: No maximum
Max Trades: No maximum

Max Games Played: 162
Max Innings Pitched: 1500
Weekly Deadline: Daily – Tomorrow
Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL
Stat Categories: R, HR, RBI, SB, BB, AVG, W, SHO, SV, K, ERA, WHIP

NYDolfan #84…I live in NYC too (i’m assuming you live in the city)…we should talk if you’re looking for a place to watch Phins games once once the season starts again in Sept. I know a pretty chill bar in Long Island City (’pretty chill’ = not full of fuckin’ stupid JETS fans). It’s no Flannigan’s but, hey, what is?

Like I did with the SporTech Fantasy Football League last year I setup a page on this site dedicated to the league where conversations can be held and all league info will be contained. The only difference this year is the page will be password protected. I will email everyone the league info and password once I get everything setup this weekend. If you didn’t provide a valid email with your original signup response, please leave one in another comment in this post. Post like this:

I’m an Up-Stater. I live up in Syracuse. Though I am down in your neck of the woods about twice a month for work. Our office is in Pearl River but I have cases right now in Manhattan and in the Bronx. I like the City, but it is certainly a change from Syracuse! We both have similar problems I’m sure, I’m stuck up here in Bills’ country and I’m sure you have to deal with the annoying Jets’ fans. I’m not sure which is worse. If I’m going to be down there on a Sunday I’ll let ya know. Thanks for the offer.
