Sheedtastic Invades the Heat’s House

I failed to mention something rather funny in my Heat/Cavs recap that went down during the game on Sunday. Upon arriving to the AAA I noticed from afar a guy wearing a Sheedtastic shirt. If you are not familiar with the phenomenon that is the Sheedtastic T-Shirt, check them out here. Basically the story goes like this. The AAA was invaded by Piston fans on Sunday and they let the Heat’s house know. Every chance they got when the Heat crowd got quiet, they proceeded to chant “Deeeeetroit Basketball” in which the feeble Heat fans responded “SUCKS”. This literally went on all day from tip off until the final buzzer. It was hilarious and annoying at the same time. I could not get any pictures or video because these fans were up in the dark areas of the upper deck. Natalie over on Need4Sheed.com was nice enough to feature SporTech Matter on her blog. Here is what she had to say…

Ok….It’s extremely cool that these Detroit Fans had Need4Sheed.com T-Shirts on but that is not the thing that makes me proudest. They went to a HEAT-CAVS game and screamed DEEEETROIT BASKETBALL whenever they had a chance. How awesome!

I know what your saying. Why should we care about the freakin Pistons? Well it was a funny story and just goes to show you how many fans from other teams have relocated to South Florida. Plus Natalie runs a great blog and figured I would give her a shout out.
