Dwyane Wade Has that Kind of Affect

Dwyane Wade and Lebron James are good friends. In fact one might consider them “best basketball buddies.” It looks like Wade’s shoulder injury is having a direct affect on Lebron James. Lebron and Wade are supposed to play in this summers FIBA Americas Tournament in Las Vegas, but James might have other things on his mind. From Brian Windhorst’s Becon Journal column…

With Dwyane Wade very likely out of this summer’s FIBA Americas Tournament in Las Vegas with a shoulder injury, James said playing for Team USA is “less appealing.” Wade’s injury “kind of makes you sit back and think about the situation,” James said. “I don’t know what the setup is going to be. It being in Vegas is most persuasive; that is a good reason why I would play. But at the same time, you have to think about getting a little rest.”

Injury or not I would have loved Wade to sit out the summer Tournament to rest. He has been playing basketball nonstop for close to 2 years now. Time to recoup. Unfortunately the injury assures him of some summer rest and relaxation.
