Joey Porter Celebrates His Birthday Like Mike Tyson

Joey Porter might be a member of the Miami Dolphins, it doesn’t mean he still can’t hate the Cincinnati Bengals. Assuming Porter was in Vegas for his 30th birthday, he decided to go out with a bang. As reported by the MLB Fanhouse via The Big Lead, Joey Porter got into a bit of a scrap this weekend with Bengals offensive lineman Levi Jones. Per Michael David Smith’s Fanhouse report…

A fist fight between two NFL players broke out in the Palms casino on Sunday night, sources said. Joey Porter, an All-Pro linebacker who recently left the Pittsburgh Steelers to join the Miami Dolphins, brawled with Cincinnati Bengals offensive lineman Levi Jones, at about 6 p.m. at a blackjack table in the casino.

Now this really shouldn’t be a big deal as players get into rift’s all the time, but the fact that Levi was quoted as saying he would be pressing charges could cause a whole lot of legal mess for J-Peezy heading into offseason workouts. Levi Jones has notoriously dominated Joey Porter on the field in Bengals/Steelers matchups, so the bad blood has always been there.

Good thing this didn’t go down at Joey’s house as JP’s pitbulls might have played into the outcome. Levi Jones is a bit larger than a small horse though. Porter is reportedly facing misdemeanor charges.
