Transaction Matter: Julio and De Aza DL Bound

THERE IS A GOD!!!! The move to slide Alejandro De Aza to do the DL was expected and disappointing. The major hole we had on our team actually performed to begin the year and now is suffering a setback. The Julio move is shocking because I felt Fredi’s hands were tied due to Beinfest’s ego. Basically this is the nice way for the Marlins to say to Julio you suck and take a nice vacation. The move’s made today lead to the recall of Lee Gardner who should have never been sent down and body building Eric Reed.

The move to send down Gardner when “The Tank” came off the DL was one of the stupidest moves and his return to the bigs was inevitable. Hopefully he is a mainstay in our bullpen the rest of the season.

Why the Jeremy Hermida picture? Because that’s the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of the DL. Plus the Red Cross was fitting.

In other news, Jose Lima is sitting on the beach somewhere wondering why he is still out of a job and Jorge Julio is not.
