Ricky Williams is a Pot Head Again, Well At Least on 4/20/2007 He Was
I was excited at the prospect of having Ricky Williams back on the Miami Dolphins this season as Ronnie Brown has yet to prove he can handle a full seasons load and Ricky is in top condition and ready to contribute. Various reports have said his locker has been cleaned out and made room for newly draft running back Lorenzo Booker, who many feel was drafted to take Ricky Williams place. Report is coming out this morning from ESPN’s Chris Mortensen that Ricky failed a drug test in April and will not be eligible for reinstatement until September. From the ESPN report…
“Falling off the wagon is part of rehab,” a source said. “Based on the medical evidence in Ricky’s case, the doctors say it’s too early to come back. He had the positive test last month. Remember, he’s been diagnosed with social anxiety disorder — that’s a real disease and a good percentage of those folks self-medicate with substances like marijuana, often at the moment they are about to have a high level of social interaction.”
I don’t know what to think here. I was excited for the return of Ricky but I’m afraid if it already wasn’t his days are numbered with the Dolphins. The only problem here is Ricky’s trade value just plummeted. Adam Schefter’s idea of sending Ricky to the Packers and the Packers sending a 4th to the Chiefs for Trent Green just doesn’t sound feasible now.
Ricky, just get some help. Your a good guy with a problem that needs to be taken care of.

I think you can put a fork in Ricky’s NFL career
Sadly I think your right Ian. I’m over having pity for this guy. He was given too many chances.
