Did You Know?

Ever since joining the Florida Marlins, Armando Benitez and Kevin Gregg have been dominant. Since coming over in a deal that sent Randy Messenger to the Giants, Mando has thrown 7 innings of 1 run ball surrendering only 4 total hits. He has struck out 5 and walked only 2 proving to be a solid setup man for Kevin Gregg.

Gregg has saved 10 out of 10 games this season and has kept his ERA to a tiny 2.61. We have quickly formed one of the stronger back ends of a bullpen in the National League. A combo of Matt Lindstrom, Henry Owens, and Taylor Tankersley have proved to be a stopgap for the 7th.

Oh yeah and in case I didn’t mention it…
