Report: Mo Williams to Select the Heat
I was checking out Chad Ford’s “Daily Dish” podcast on ESPN today during lunch and caught Marc Stein make mention of the Mo Williams negotiations.
Basically what Marc Stein is saying is that Mo Williams is leaning towards choosing the Heat and taking significantly less money to play in Miami. Marc was hearing from insider’s late last night that Mo was going to sleep on the decision and announce his decision today. All signs are pointing to Miami.

Other rumors regarding the Heat today involve a sign and trade with the Warriors for Mickael Pietrus. Randy Pfund plans to contact the Warriors about a potential sign-and-trade for the 6-6, multi skilled, 25-year-old small forward.

I don’t believe the heat have any better of a chance then we do to get to the finals so mo money or less Mo should stay with milwaukee, a young team coming up. As for Walker, shaq, Zo, Payton their done/old and wades a ball hog. So i don’t understand why everyone thinks they have a better chance then the bucks. So stay with your friends and take more money. We love you Mo.

You got your man. Congrats. Mo was very smart here. It was his first contract after his rookie contract and his once chance to get paid bigtime before he is 30.
You probably overpaid a bit but sometimes you have to to get your man.
