Scott Olsen, D-Bag Yet Again

Scott Olsen was back in form last night at Dolphin Stadium, mowing down Cincinnati Reds batters with ease. He was also back in form after the game and up to his usual antics. After completing a 10-2 win against the Reds, Scott Olsen was arrested for driving under the influence, resisting arrest with violence and fleeing and eluding a police officer. From the Miami Herald’s report…

An officer who was running a radar check in the area of Country Club Drive and 191st Street clocked Olsen speeding shortly after 3 a.m., said Capt. William Washa, a department spokesman.

”The officer went to pull him over and he refused to stop,” Washa said.

Olsen, 23, finally stopped his car when he reached his home in Aventura, Washa said. There, he began fighting with the officers and refused to take a Breathalyzer test, Washa said.

Of course, the Marlins refused to comment. Seriously what is it with this kid? I fail to understand why this guy has the huge ego and stubborn attitude we have come to put up with. First of all he has yet to prove jack in the majors other than he has a loud mouth and doesn’t know how to control his emotions on and off the field. I think it might be time for some anger management classes or send a message by sending him to the minors for a bit.
