Rumor: Smush Parker to Sign with Heat?
Now mind you, I’m real good at scanning the internets and message boards for homemade rumors, just ask Mo Williams friend about that. This one popped up yesterday and gave me a slight heart attack. According to the very popular Lakers message board Club Lakers, Smush Parker will sign a deal with the Miami Heat for 2 years/5 million. From the board and the “reliable source”…
He’s already signed with the Heat I believe, and the press conference is supposed to be some time this weekend. If not, soon. He’s been in LA for a couple days and he was negotiating with several teams, Clippers/Heat included. He chose Miami, this info is legit and Laker fans should be wishing him the best. How telling, I give the info, and also that he follows Shaq too. I wish him good luck, I’ll miss the fun times in P&G, he’s finally getting money he deserves.
Apparently this guy knows Smush personally. Take that for what it’s worth.
If this is true, Mo Williams said it best, not everything is peaches and cream down in Miami.
