NewsFlash: Ricky Williams Applies for Reinstatement

Ricky Williams, NFL running back and weed connoisseur has officially applied for reinstatement to the NFL. Williams remains under contract with Miami, where he won the NFL rushing title in 2002. But new coach Cam Cameron has not indicated whether he wants Williams to stay with the Dolphins, who fell to 0-4 Sunday.

“Ricky is extremely excited about the prospect of playing in the NFL again and hopeful for a positive response,” his agent Leigh Steinberg said.

Yeah, positive response, hopefully not another positive piss test. The least they could do is get this man a profile picture with some dreadlocks!

The real question is at this point, do we even care if we get Ricky back and will he actually help this pathetic team?

According to Jim Mandich on 560 today…

“Ronnie Brown is the most physically imposing runner in the league…if you talk to NFL players.”

Unless Ricky can play defense or special teams, I’ll pass.
