2008 Florida Marlins Schedule

The Florida Marlins handed out their 2008 schedule magnets during the last homestand of the season. Opening day will be on April 1, 2008 and the Marlins plan to get on a roll quickly. Here are some of the key games to get you excited for the 2008 season. The Marlins get to open the season in front of the home crowd against the visiting New York Mets and all their local fans. Obviously schedules are subject to change, but here are a few of the key matchups next season.

April 1-3: New York Mets

April 29-May 3: Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres

May 16-18: Kansas City Royals (Interleague)

Aug. 11-14: St. Louis Cardinals

Aug. 15-15: Chicago Cubs

The Marlins will have 15 interleague games this season with 6 of them being at home. Also do not worry fans, the Super Saturday Concert series will be back for it’s second season. Season ticket packages are available now via FloridaMarlins.com.
