Dolphin’s Lose to Texans Kicker
The Miami Dolphin’s dropped a tough one today in Houston by the score of 22-19. The Dolphin’s defense played well all game, in fact it was the best played game of the season for the veteran D. The problem came in the fourth quarter where the defense looked tired again and allowed Matt Shaub and company to march down the field for a game winning field goal with 6 seconds left in the game. Kris Brown single handedly won this game for the Texans as he nailed field goals from 54, 43, 54, 20, and a 57 yarder to win the game.
Ronnie Brown came through once again with a big game totaling 150+ yards for the third week in a row. Ted Ginn Jr had a nice day in the return game and hauled in a 36 yard reception.
As you read earlier, Trent Green was knocked out of the game early. Hopefully he comes out of that healthy and hopefully we see more of Cleo and Beck in the near future.

Aside from the unfortunate injury to Trent Green, there were some bright spots, with good performance again from Ronnie Brown. Cleo Lemon and Ted Ginn Jr. show promise. The defense played well .. for as long as they could until they ran out of gas. I’m going to assume we won’t see Trent Green again in the coming weeks, and I suspect we’ll be getting to see plenty of John Beck and find out if in fact he’s the man. It would appear to me that it’s in the Trent Green’s best intersts to hang em’ up at this time.
