Ricky and Cam Smoke the Peace Pipe

Cam Cameron met with Ricky Williams today to decide his future with the Miami Dolphins. After a couple of hits from the peace pipe, Cam decided Ricky needs a fresh start and has allowed him to rejoin the team and practice and possibly play against Pittsburgh.

I have a feeling there is going to be alot of talk in the local media about Cam’s decision about holding on to questionable character guys after he released Fred Evans and held onto Joey Porter. Cam issued a statement to the media…

“Circumstances have changed,” said Cameron, who has stressed his preference for “character” players. “Then was then and now is now. But I still rely on the leadership of the locker room.”

The best thing for John Beck right now is the addition of Ricky Williams. He could prove to be very valuable down the stretch. Who knows, Dolphin fans may be able to chant “Run Ricky Run” one more time.
