Nick Saban, Still a Major Douche
I never thought I would have to mention Nick Saban again but he just makes it so hard to stay away from this walking mess. Relative to what Crimson Tide fans think, this guy is a major douche, relative to other douches. Not only that, he is the most overpaid douche in college football, next to his buddy, Turd Sandwich. Here is what Saban said after his Tide were upset by Louisiana Monroe…
“Changes in history usually occur after some kind of catastrophic event,” Saban said during the opening remarks of his weekly news conference. “It may be 9-11, which sort of changed the spirit of America relative to catastrophic events. Pearl Harbor kind of got us ready for World War II, or whatever, and that was a catastrophic event.”
Hmmm. Well isn’t that special, Nick Saban really does know how to appeal himself to America doesn’t he? Note to Saban: While it’s all warm and nice that you mention past historic events in America in your postgame press conference, let’s try to keep the context a little bit more tasteful.
Saban’s spokesman had this to say about his remarks…
“What Coach Saban said did not correlate losing a football game with tragedy; everyone needs to understand that. He was not equating losing football games to those catastrophic events,” football spokesman Jeff Purington said in a statement to The Associated Press. “The message was that true spirit and unity become evident in the most difficult of times. Those were two tremendous examples that everyone can identify with.”
Regardless of what his spokesman thinks, your still a douche Saban.

NEW SPORTS TERM: “Pulling a Saban” = coach gives up on a failing Pro team, and goes back to coaching college where it is easier to have a winning record. (+/- lies/denials of being a coward/giving up).
(Originated by: Nick Saban who gives up on the Miami Dolphins and runs for cover to coach the Alabama Crimson Tide).
