Screw Jeffrey Loria…Again

I’m all for helping your alma mater, but when your doing it while driving a MLB franchise into the ground, it pisses me off. Just sayin.

Reached by phone, Jeffrey Loria, who according to Yale also donated $20 million, said he made the gift because “I’m a [Yale] graduate, and I could afford it, and it’s time to give back to the university.” Mr. Loria is an art dealer, as well as the owner of the Florida Marlins, and over the years he has given several works of art to Yale.

Meanwhile. The Rays look to become the class of MLB in Florida.

MLB needs to do something about this asshat.

Well, it’s not like the Marlins needed that money for a stadium or anything…

(FYI, I thought this article was so egregious and hilarious, I linked to your post on my site.)

I’m so fed up with this organization you have no idea. You think your crazy when the Phins lose Dude, you should see how I am going to react when the Marlins are contracted or moved to Fargo North Dakota.

JD, I used to work for the Marlins, and let me tell you, after working for them, you’d want no part of that entire organization. Really a mess from top to bottom, and I’m not talking only about the baseball side. If I wasn’t such a homer and baseball fan I would have washed my hands of the whole thing long ago.
