Nunez Picks Up The Save

I’m usually very critical of Fredi Gonzalez yet I give him a free pass most of the time due to his hands being tied by a low payroll. His use of the bullpen last night was something I would like to see more often. I’m glad he did not leave Dan Meyer out to absorb a blown save last night and brought Leo Nunez in to wrap up the 4-2 win over the Nats last night.
Also nice to see Bonerface actually contribute to a win for once and Hanley keep up his hot hitting with a 3 hit night. Also nice to see Ricky Nolasco finally regain last seasons form.
Now it’s time for Beinfest and company to make some crafty moves.

My favorite reason for jailbreaking my iPhone just got even better. Custom MobileScrobbler status bar icons when scrobbling. Should be out in a Cydia repo near you soon! Stay tuned here for an update when the dev is ready for public release.

Jay Bouwmeester Your Outta Here!
It was only a matter of time but the Panthers finally did the inevitable and traded the rights to Jay-Bo to the Calgary Flames for a decent return, but not as much as they could have gotten in return if traded during the season. Here is the haul…
Jay Bouwmeester is gone to Calgary as defenseman Jordan Leopold comes to Florida along with the Flames third round pick.
I’ll let George Richards give you his take on this as I have better things to do, such as sit at the pool.

NIN|JA 2009 Photoset
I went to NIN|JA 2009 at the Cruzan on Friday night. In case you didn’t see over on the Photoblog, I have my photoset up from the show.
