Nunez Picks Up The Save

I’m usually very critical of Fredi Gonzalez yet I give him a free pass most of the time due to his hands being tied by a low payroll. His use of the bullpen last night was something I would like to see more often. I’m glad he did not leave Dan Meyer out to absorb a blown save last night and brought Leo Nunez in to wrap up the 4-2 win over the Nats last night.
Also nice to see Bonerface actually contribute to a win for once and Hanley keep up his hot hitting with a 3 hit night. Also nice to see Ricky Nolasco finally regain last seasons form.
Now it’s time for Beinfest and company to make some crafty moves.
